hey there mother. well ya this year is starting off just flying by its weird. sounds like youve had some fun in utah im pretty excited to see everyone again but i still have time. haha but have fun with them while you can. and yes i have played that ticket to ride game with you shawn and abby actually. its pretty fun i know i played with dad one time too.

well this week was a pretty good one. it was a little bit slow cuz of the new year. i was surprised everything was closed on the first of the month and ther was hardly anyone to talk to it was weird. i dont know if thats how it is in the states but ya. on wednesday we had our training meeting with the zone. it went pretty well and i was able to get to know some more of the new elders a little better. then on thursday i went up to braga the zoneleaders area to do a baptismal interview. it was really cool and i enjoyed it a lot. this is my second one. this girl was super shy but she opened up a little bit and i felt good about it. so that was really fun.

our investigator serifo is still in lisbon until this week so hopefully we can get back with him. but we have started working with two people who are married to members. one is joaquin who is married to recent convert helenice and the other is rosabella who is married to irmao laje and is an active member. it was kind of a shock when we found out she wasnt. so im excited to see where they go. joaquin basically is golden and said he would like to be baptised after he finishes up with some buisness he has in france which will be in the end of january or beginning of february. and rosabella says shes had the lessons three times and she just hasnt felt the need to be baptised. she goes to church everyweek and she says for now this is good. so we will see how that goes with her.

we we also able to talk with an irma fatima who is a less active and we gave her a blessing. it was a great lesson and her daughter ana is only 9 and she knows a ton about the church it was actually surprising. but they didnt come to church this week but we are trying to get them back active. so im hoping we can work with them more. we are also working with irmao joaquin to help his wife and daughter. they arent too interested but joaquin is awesome and it will all work out.

so im pretty pleased with what we have going here. i was a little sick this past two weeks. i had a pretty good sore throat and one day i couldnt talk. but now im getting better so thats a relief. other than that im just great and having fun. i hope all is well with you guys and have a nice week. until next time i love you and tell dad that i love him too.
