hey there mam thanks for the email. im sad the package still hasnt arrived thats insane. i really hope it does eventually arrive.

sounds like you guys are having fun and stuff. the picture with dad and ryder oh that boy looks awesome. i cant wait to meet all of the little new rugrats. its gonna be so much fun. and the beach oh i actually miss the beach. right before i left i started liking it more than i had when i was younger so i actually miss it a little bit. well being able to relax and get in the water is what i actually miss. haha but im loving my mission you know that and its way worth it.

elder santos left and got home safely and everything. he was a good comp and im gonna miss him. its going to be weird not speaking portuguese to a native anymore. but ya i have myself a nice little greenie im training. haha. hes awesome his name is elder peck. ill send you a picture of us in another email after this one so you can see us. he is from kansas city kansas. we were put together on thursday which is transfer day and everyone guessed that we would be put together before we were so it was meant to be haha. but ya hes a cool kid with a lot of desire to teach and spread the gospel. he speaks amazingly well i was very surprised when i first heard him. his only problem is understanding. but that just takes time and he already understands way more than i did when i got here so hes doing great. we get along really well and its only been since thursday so i dont know everything about him but im glad i got him he seems like hes gonna be lots of fun. its been cool so far training i always have someone looking at everything i do and im trying to be the best example i can be. its helping me i think just as much if not more than him

but ya this week as elder santos left we were invited to eat at quite a few members houses so thats about all we did. it was fun though and i got to know them a little better which is always good. but then my boy arrived and we planned and got to work. this saturday we had a street meeting which was really fun with our district handing out books of mormon. it was funny to watch him he did really well and is gospel fluent as he says haha.

but ya we had a nice lesson with joaquin who is still doing great and says he will be baptised after he resolves his problem in france. so pray that that happens quickly with no problems and that he can quit smoking. then we had a lesson with alipio and his wife selia. they were a reference weve had for a while but we could never get an appointment but finally we were able to meet with them and we had a bomb lesson talking about the importance of the book of mormon and what its purpose is. the spirit was really strong and you could tell they felt it their attitude and way they thought of us definitely changed from the beginning to the end of the lesson. it was a good one. so hopefully they will read and pray and we can go back to talk to them. so pray for them as well. barbosa and serifo unfortunately werent able to be taught or come to church but we have a lesson with barbosa tonight so we hope it goes well. im really excited about our area and there is a lot of potential in these people.


so thats about all i got. it was a good one and i cant wait to see what happens and what the lord has in store for us and this area. elder peck has a lot of fire and with that miracles will happen. thanks for everything you do and i love you both so much. have an awesome week and i will talk to you soon.
