hey there mother well thanks for the email. and it really stinks we cant call home for fathers day but tell dad i love him and just thank him for all the sacrifices he has made for me and the love and support he has always given. and happy fathers day 1 day late.

well this past week was a good one. not to much stuff happened but it was good. manuela wasnt able to meet with us this week. she just couldnt but she still has desire and wants us to pass. antonio was good though and we had some good lessons with him. he said he would come to church this week but he didnt.

we were able to get in and teach claudio again this week which went well. he is a cool kid its just hard cuz he doesnt understand. but we taught him more of the restoration so that he understands everything completely. i think it went well. we also had a really cool experience this week.

in our mission we do this thing called olhos da fe eyes of faith. its from elder causse of the seventy. so what we do is pray to have people put into our minds that we will meet that day or week that are ready to hear the gospel. then we go out and try to find them. so the other day elder ruesch and i were going to knock these one buildings at a certain time that day. so before we left we did olhos da fe specifically for that time and those buildings. i saw a guy with a button up shirt on and scragly curly hair and his wife with a pink shirt on. she was brown and pregnant. my comp saw a lady with her hair up and wearing all black. so we went and started knocking. when we got to the bottom floor we knocked the door on the right and this lady came to the door who was brown with a pink shirt and pregnant. she called her man who had curly messy hair and a button up shirt. it was so cool, then we went inside and blessed their house and left them with a pamphlet. they were really nice and said we could come back. so we left the house and then knocked the next door across the hall and this lady came to the door and told us she didnt have time but to come back later. so we left the building and i was like elder ruesch do you realize that was who i visualized and then he said and did you realize that last lady was dressed in all black with her hair up. it was his. so we was a really cool experience and it helped me to have more faith and trust in the lord. i have been doing olhos da fe for quite a while but this was the best experience ive had with it. we went back yesterday and had a lesson with fatima who was elder rueschs lady and anabela and jonnie are mine. we are going back during this week. so its really cool and fatima was great and wants to learn more.

we also had a fun activity in covilha. it was the fiesta dos sabores. party of flavors. we divided into teams and each team cooked a dessert from that teams country. so we were the united states adn we did it with a member. it was fun we made cinnamon rolls. they turned out pretty good. it was way fun though we ate a ton of food and had a good time with the members.

lets see this week i already told you my best and worst moments and something i learned in the paragraphs before this but i also learned how to play fur elise on the piano so thats cool. and lets see cristiana is being interesting she doesnt really want to have a visit with us she just wants to go to church next week well this coming sunday so that will be good and hopefully we can get her going. and yes that stop smoking thing works if you do the program it will work. 100 percent of the people that did it all stopped in 7 days its pretty amazing. so we still havent been able to start it with her but hopefully this week.

well i think thats about it this week. i really just wanted to tell you about that olhos da fe thing that was so cool. i just love missionary work and am loving every minute. sometimes its so hard when we just dont teach for a while but then its things like that that make everything worth it. i love you both and thanks for everything. have an amazing week and stay strong. read the scriptures and say your prayers.
