(Mckenon became a district leader, which we found out in a letter from President Walton. I congratulated him in my email and teased him for not telling us)

oh hey thanks for the congrats. and i would have told you but i knew that there would be a letter coming and i thought that was cool so i just let it slide. haha but its pretty fun and im enjoying it. my district is made up of elders stanworth and powell from ermisinde,the zone leaders goggia and green in braga and irmas mortensen and dos santos from guimaraes. and of course me and santos. the main thing i do is district meeting on wednesday. i plan it and run it. its pretty fun and then every friday i call all the companionships and talk to them about their areas investigators and then give that info to the zone leaders. then sunday i call for numbers of the week and put them in the computer. its fun i suppose. no i like it.

but the next two weeks we're not having district meeting cuz of the christmas party and the next week theres a special training. but its all good. thats about all but we will see how it goes the first two meetings went well i enjoyed them.

and yes i got the package this past week on wednesday i think or thursday so thanks a bunch. im saving it for christmas that's what im supposed to do right haha. but the card came today so thanks a lot. i wasnt sure if the card was for christmas so i opened it and saw the front and put it back in the envelope and im gonna save it with the package. have you gotten the package i sent from madiera yet? i dont remember you saying yes yet. i hope it comes soon. and ya im really excited to talk to you guys this week it should be awesome. and i will just buy a calling card today actually and call you guys. this time we are just doing it at the chapel so no internet skype. but it will still be fun. so i will talk to you soon. its weird to think the last time i talked to you i was in vila real and ive already been 6 months on madeira and it flew by. wow

and the sacrament went really well. our ward mission leader didnt plan it all that well so there was some confusion at the beginning with the lights and everything that was a little bit distracting but it was good. and im sorry but i didnt record it i completely forgot and plus i was a bit sick so i dont think it sounded all that great anyways. but it was good.

and ya you have to remember to get someone to record drews talk please im pretty excited to hear him speak. so dont forget se faz favor.

well this week went well. it was a bit different. tuesday was cool we had a lesson with serifo and his cousin barbosa and we taught with a member brasalina. it went really wel the second lesson and when we got to the atonement we gave him the invite to be baptised on january 2nd. he hesitantly accepted. he said he thinks its a bit ealry but then he said ok. it's just a goal it might change but its marked so thats exciting. he will be baptised almost for sure one day i just hope i get to see it. he is really cool and is enjoying the gospel. then it was a little different the rest of the week. i did a division cuz im the district leader with ermesinde elders. i went there with the greenie elder powell from wednesday until saturday. it was pretty fun. he is very green. just he way he walks and talks is so funny. he almost got hit by a car cuz usually you can just walk into the street and everyone will stop. unless it actually has a light then you should stop but either way just make sure yo duont die. but him being a greenie hes like a new born infant just walks into the street and almost gets drilled by this truck and it kind of scared him. i was just laughing and the rest of the day he was walking behind me. haha oh but it was good i was able to be there for his first portuguese blessing that we gave to a 2 year members kid who was sick. he was crying the whole time but it was a good experience.

we also got to do a little service and help a member move houses. then this satuday we switched back and had the stake christmas party. it was fun i was able to see most of the members from vila real which was cool and i enjoyed it. it was a pretty good week nothing crazy happened. my comp is way sick so on sunday we didnt do that much. but it was still fun. well i wont say anything else cuz we got lots to tlak about. i dont know what but we always have something when we can call. haha
