yes we heard about the thing on madeira thats crazy. elder cordeiro talks to president once a week about the branch so he told us all about it. we hear about big things usually. with all these things it makes me think how close the second coming can actually be. its crazy to think about but kind of exciting.

thanks for keeping up with the lady in riverside hopefully something happens. its ok though i will just tell the member to write a letter. but keep trying thanks a lot.

thats good they got my letter that only took like a week so not bad. i just sent some pics of cordeiro and i think i sent them to you already through email.

well the renovations in the chapel room are finished but they still have like 4 or 5 other rooms to do they are slow and they only worked that one week so some day they are gonna come back i think. but its looks a lot nicer which is cool.


yes our little district is definately weird. our district meetings are more like a companionship inventory but its fun.

that really stinks about the speed limits over there wow that is so slow. well the speed limit over here is like on these highways in vila real its 90 kph which is slow and on the major freeways its 120. then on the streets and stuff i havent seen an actual speed limit sign and people either go slow or super fast zooming down the cobblestone roads. its intense so in town i just cruise around doing a comfortable speed. its fun though i would love getting my licesne that means for sure i would drive my whole mission cuz were getting more cars. we will see.

thats awesome nicole and chelsea having little babies. i love kids so much we see them all the time and there is this little kid who is 3 that comes to church he is our only one but he is awesome and so funny. we call him joãozinho. which is little joão. thats awesome though.

well as for you guys coming to pick me up that is completely up to you guys. if you want that would be awesome and fun but so if you want im all for it. i think its 3 weeks is what the president allows so its like a mission tour and ya it would be fun.

ya i try to think in portuguese a lot but i still stink. its all good. one day. cordeiro pretty much thinks all in english now and his portuguese has gotten worse. im not even that good yet and my english is way worse. but its all good whatever the lord wants right.

well this week was really cool. first of all we had zone conference which like always is really cool and spiritually uplifting. we were transfered to a different zone of porto. and now the mission only has 4 zones. its crazy. things are getting a lot smaller. by around august or september we will only have 30 companionships in the mission. so ya our zone was only like 20 or 25 elders. pretty crazy no irmas in our zone. we got only one new guy this past transfer. but this next one were will recieve i think 6. 4 elders and 2 irmas. so thats cool. if i stay here in vila real we will probably get a newbie to drive so that will be fun.

but we tried to pass a bunch of our potentials this week and almost none of them were there and the ones that were said come back later. but it was all good we knocked a lot of doors which is always fun. but the coolest thing happened just yesterday night. we decided to go back and see if we could talk to cassiano. and he was there and let us in. so we were talking to him about the restoration and popped in the dvd. which alwasy brings the spirit. it was cool then we talked about joseph and i asked him if he gets an answer to his questions about which chruch is true would he join it and he said yes. he is awesome and is already in alma 31. he is zooming through the book and says once he finishes it he will know if its true or not. then we all prayed each of us then he prayed last and it was so cool. he really wants to know if the livro de mormon is true and i can tell he is going to be a really strong member one day. so please pray for him to receive an answer. its so much fun teaching and learning.

so that was pretty much the highlight of the week. it was awesome. this next week is looking like its going to be great. im so excited. the work here in vila is different but it is awesome. i know this area has great potential to be so strong.
